Tired of spending $7 on a latte? Here’s how I make one at home! Super easy and customizable!
Ingredients:
- Coffee (I use Maxwell House but literally any ground coffee will do!)
- Sugar or Splenda
- Milk of choice (I usually use whole milk because we keep it on hand for the toddler)
- Optional- flavoring- this can be chocolate syrup, caramel, or any specialty coffee syrup
Directions:
1. First brew your coffee extra strong! If you have an espresso roast that’s great! If not then just use a little more. I usually do about 2-3 tablespoons of Maxwell house coffee grounds per one shot. I have a ninja coffee bar so I put the settings on single cup and specialty brew.
2. Add your sugar or Splenda. I use 1 tablespoon either way. Then stir it in so it dissolves in the hot coffee!
3. Add your flavoring if you want it and stir it in. For this one I used this Skinny Mixes Dark Chocolate Espresso syrup and it was so good!
4. Froth your milk. I microwave my milk for 30 seconds in a glass cup and then froth with this frother. It’s super high speed and takes no time. If you don’t have one of these you can warm it up in a mason jar and shake it to froth!
5. Add your milk on top of your coffee! That’s it!
